This week’s playlist is a tempered version of culture shock: a combination of the songs and bands that remind me of London, along with an infiltration of new American music. One highlight is the starter, 2 + 3 by Campfire OK off their brand new album. They’re a new band for me, but I’m feeling folksy/melancholic, so I’m glad for the outlet. Frank Turner, any song whatsoever, will always be English because his accent creeps wonderfully into his songs, but there’s a station here that actually plays him, making me such a happy ex-expat. And, of course Remind Me by Röyksopp couldn’t be any more oblique:
